Holy Hymns for Even More Problematic People

A while ago, I shared some of the music I listened to while writing The Psalms of Sinners—essentially, songs I listened to while ruining my characters’ lives.

Naturally, I have learned nothing.

Except this time, the playlist is worse.

The Gospel of Heretics lives in the aftermath of Volume 1: what people do after they get what they wanted, what they’ll become to keep it, and what happens when the things buried for years decide they’re done staying dead.

So while some familiar artists and moods return, the playlist is darker, heavier, and less “sexy morally gray women committing crimes” and more “oh, this woman needs professional—and possibly divine—intervention immediately.”

Which is not looking great for anybody.

I’ve linked my author Spotify page to the image below so you can listen to the full playlist, with a few highlights included in case Spotify decides to choose violence.

Happy listening. And if any of these songs start making a little too much sense by the time you finish Volume 2, that is between you and your higher power.

Much love,
AMV
